We offer flexible family therapy to our clients in an educational and approachable manner. Our family work is often provided in combination with other therapies, including child or adolescent therapy, group counseling or couples therapy.
In our work with families, we employ several approaches, including family systems, structural family therapy, and Emotionally Focused Family Therapy. We mainly intend to assist families in overcoming communication barriers and patterns that make them feel “stuck,” as well as practising new, more positive ways of communicating to one another. We try to assist families in initiating new conversations in order for them to build new patterns for better bonding.
